I like cheesecake

I have been eating cheesecake almost everyday since hubby bought one layer of it which is about 12 slices. I just love cheesecake and while I was eating earlier I just remember and asked myself if it's good for me to eat cheesecake since I am pregnant. So, I started searching for answers over the internet and found out that it is ok for pregnant women to eat cheesecake since one of the main ingredients of it is just cream cheese and it is cooked. I also found out that only unpasturized soft cheese which pregnant women should avoid.

Now, I have nothing to worry. I could eat all cheesecake I want.

Travel Tips: How to Protect Yourself While Traveling Abroad

I found this article very useful and informative if you are planning to travel abroad. Following these safety travel tips will help you keep safe and make your trip a memorable one. You can check more of these travel tips at www.alltraveltips.com.

How to Protect Yourself While Traveling Abroad?

Do the research so you’ll know the particular risks you face.

Know the local laws and abide by them.

Register your whereabouts with the U.S. Embassy if you are staying longer than two weeks or are in a particularly dangerous area.

Dress conservatively and try to blend in. If you are in an area with groups of people hostile to the United States, and there are many, avoid clothing or other items that openly label you as a U.S. citizen. You might be safer if they think you are a Canadian.

Take care when choosing your hotel and transportation providers.

If you haven’t left your valuables at home, leave them in your hotel’s safe.

Don’t draw attention to yourself, avoid wearing flashy jewelry and don’t display large amounts of cash. Carry only enough cash to make it through the day and leave the rest in the hotel’s safe.

Avoid traveling alone.

Be careful about sharing your traveling plans with strangers.

Stick to the main roads and avoid taking shortcuts down narrow alleys and/or poorly lit streets.

Always be aware of what is going on around you.

Only use taxis, tours and other transportation services with official markings. Only select transportation from official pickup points at transportation hubs.

Be very careful if you are asked to sell or part with your personal items. Many countries have restrictions on items foreigners can sell or give away and you can get into serious trouble for violating those laws.

Never accept gifts or packages from unknown parties.

Don’t accept items from locals to carry out of the country and deliver or mail to someone they know.

Approach any "special deals" with caution, especially if you have to go off the beaten path to get them.

Know the laws about exchanging money. Only use official exchange facilities since this is another area that can get you into trouble fast.

Where can I find information on issues that will effect my safety while I’m traveling?
travel.state.gov/travel_warnings.html - The U.S. State Department’s Travel Warning and Consular Information web page. This site contains detailed information on foreign countries’ entry requirements, safety, crime, medical facilities, traffic and aviation safety, customs, criminal penalties, and special issue information. It also includes contact information and web links to foreign Embassies and Consulate offices.

www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/ - The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency’s country listing section of the CIA’s World Factbook web page. This site contains extremely detailed information on foreign countries. Much of this information would be useful to the business traveler, but it also includes information that would be helpful to the tourist.

How to avoid being the victim of a pickpocket?

  • Don’t travel in narrow alleys or poorly lit streets.
  • When possible, avoid having crowds of people surrounding you.
  • Carry a dummy wallet and put your money in your front pocket.
  • Place a rubber band around your wallet, it will make it much more difficult to remove from your pocket without your knowledge.
  • Carry your purse under your arm.
  • Carry your money under your clothes.

Back to blogging

It's been quiet awhile since I wrote a post on this blog. I was just too lazy these past days maybe because I feel nauseous most of the time and I feel that if I stayed too long infront of my PC I feel more nauseous and green. Thank God, I still don't have morning sickness at 7 weeks and 4 days of my pregnancy and I hope morning sickness won't get me. Today, I'm glad I was able to overcome my laziness and finally able to blog today. Things are doing well these past days while I'm gone in the blogosphere. Thanks for all the bloggers and friends who keep visiting my site. I will be visiting you in return.

Cartier Diamond

Hubby and I just got home a little bit ago after running some errands. Time flies by so fast when we went to the mall to go to the DMV to have hubby’s new truck “Toyota Tundra” registered, I already saw Christmas decors hanging on the mall’s walls and ceilings which made me thought about the Christmas season and what Christmas present should I give for hubby and I also wonder what present will hubby give me this Christmas. Hmmm, maybe a watch would be nice. I came across on a website that sells luxury watches with genuine brands like Cartier, Gucci, Movado and many more. I checked on their cartier diamond watches for women and they are so pretty and was also impressed with their prices because most of them were up to 59% off. What a great deal isn’t it? If you haven’t thought yet on what to give your loved ones for Christmas present why not consider a luxury watch. I’m sure your loved ones would be so happy and so delighted to receive something special like the kind of watch shown below. If you want to find out more about the many styles and brands of genuine and 100% authentic luxury watches visit www.thewatchery.com and you will be able to find something that you will like as Christmas present at a very good deal.

Treadmills Guide

Hubby once thought about getting a treadmill for home use because he wants to lose weight and not only this I can also use it just to improve my physical fitness. We were looking around in the mall before but really have no idea what kind of treadmill is best to use. Now, I came across with Treadmills Guide that gives a lot of information about buying a treadmill. It also gives information about the advantages and disadvantages of the different treadmill brands and categorized according to their price range. If you are looking for an ordinary or a luxury treadmill check Treadmills Guide before buying one so you will be able to get the best treadmill that is out in the market today.
