The Grand Mesa

This photo was taken during my first couple of months of my arrival in the US. I think it was in February 2007. Hubby took me a ride around to see some beautiful views of the mountain.

We drove to the Grand Mesa and took a photo from the top of the mountain over looking the Valley. The photo above was taken during winter time.

The Grand Mesa is largest mesa in the world, it has an area of about 500 square miles (1300 km²) and stretches for about 40 miles (65 km) east of Grand Junction between the Colorado River and the Gunnison River. Hubby took this photo just last month.
