The day after 4th of July that was Saturday I told hubby that I would like to take a drive around some of the places in the Mesa County, Colorado. He said we will take a loop from Grand Junction, to Gateway and come out of Montrose and Delta going back to Grand Junction. Since he was not familiar yet with which way to go to take the loop we decided to grab Colorado Maps to Walmart and so he dropped me off to Walmart to buy the road map while he went to Sam's Club to refill the car with gas. I got a couple of colorado maps with me when he got back to pick me up. The children are with us also during that trip.
Along the way we pass by many beautiful scenic views of the mountains, we saw one ram which has a quiet big horns, we stopped by and took come photos of it. We reach Gateway, Colorado after driving approximately 2 hrs although gateway is only 1 hr and 10 mins drive but since we stopped every now and then to take photos along the road so it took us awhile to reach there.
Gateway is home to the Gateway Canyons Resort and Auto Museum. Established by Discovery Channel founder John S. Hendricks, this resort blends in naturally to the landscape that surrounds it.
