Template...

I'm tired of looking at the template of this blog and thinking about changing a new one but a little bit hesitant because I might mess up the widgets that I have on this blog or even loss my bloglists. I wonder how I'm going to change my template but still keep the link lists in my blogroll. I know that I have to save the html of this template before I make any changes to store everything. But how am I going to do to keep my link list when I change into a new template? Any suggestions and idea will be appreciated.
